1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They make the site work properly, remember your sign-in and settings, and let the operator understand how the site is used. For simplicity, we also include similar browser technologies (e.g. local storage) under the term "cookies".
2. Legal basis and consent
We process necessary cookies based on our legitimate interest in operating the website and providing the service you requested – under Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications, no consent is required for their use.
We load analytics and marketing cookies and similar third-party content only with your prior consent, given via the consent bar on your first visit. We do not load them before consent is given. The site currently uses no analytics cookies; the only marketing content is YouTube video preview images (section 3.3).
Newsletter consent is not part of the cookie banner – it is a separate consent under GDPR that you give by ticking a box at registration, in the order form or when subscribing. More in the privacy policy.
3. What cookies the site uses

These would serve anonymous measurement of site traffic and behaviour. We currently use none.
3.3 Marketing (optional, off by default)
The “Videos” section on the home page contains video guides from YouTube. If you allow marketing content, we show preview images for the videos directly from YouTube's servers (i.ytimg.com). Loading them passes your IP address and browser details to Google Ireland Limited; the previews themselves do not store cookies. Without consent we show text-only video cards.
The YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com) never loads automatically – only when you start a video by clicking it, which is an explicit request. Once playing, YouTube may store data needed for playback in your browser (cookies or browser storage). Without JavaScript, a video card links straight to youtube.com. We use no other advertising or tracking cookies.
4. How to change or withdraw consent
You can change your choices at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. The change takes effect immediately. You can also withdraw consent by deleting cookies in your browser settings – the consent bar will appear again on your next visit. Rejecting optional cookies does not affect the site's functionality.
5. Third-party cookies
To protect forms against spam, the site loads Google reCAPTCHA, which may store the _GRECAPTCHA cookie and data in browser storage. This is a necessary security function (legitimate interest); Google's privacy policy applies. Videos in the “Videos” section play from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only after a click; video previews only with your consent (section 3.3). The site loads no analytics tools or ad networks; other static files are served directly from this domain.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, in particular if new cookies are added. The current version is always available on this page. For a material change, we will ask for your consent again.
